Terms and Conditions
Last updated 27 July 2026
These terms apply whenever you book a paid club session or one-off event through Whoison (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by WHOISON LTD, 39 Raynham Street, Hertford SG13 7DE, United Kingdom. By making a booking you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not book through the Services.
1. What Whoison is
Whoison is a booking and payments platform. It lets independent club organisers and event organisers (“organisers”) list paid sessions or one-off events and take bookings and payments from players online. Whoison is not the organiser of any session or event and does not itself run, coach, or supervise any activity — organisers do.
2. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Each booking total is made up of the session or event price set by the organiser, plus a Whoison booking fee. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via Stripe, our payment processor. Whoison does not store your card details.
The booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances, including when you cancel a booking yourself, whether or not the session or event price itself is refunded.
3. Cancelling your own booking
You can cancel a confirmed booking at any time before the session or event starts, from your booking confirmation link.
- More than 24 hours before the start time: the session or event price is refunded to your original payment method. The booking fee is kept and is not refunded.
- Within 24 hours of the start time: no refund is given — neither the price nor the booking fee.
- You cannot cancel a booking after the session or event has started.
If a booking is still awaiting payment (not yet confirmed), it can be cancelled at any time with nothing charged.
4. Cancellations by the organiser
If an organiser cancels an entire session or event, every player with a confirmed booking is refunded in full, including the booking fee. Refunds are issued automatically to your original payment method; they can take a few business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
5. Waitlists
If a session or event is full, you may be able to join a waitlist. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a place and does not take any payment. If a place becomes available, we will offer it to the next player on the waitlist with a limited time window to pay and confirm; if that window passes, the place is offered to the next player in turn.
6. Organiser responsibilities
Organisers are independent of Whoison and are solely responsible for: the accuracy of their listing (time, location, price, and capacity), running the session or event safely and lawfully, and holding any permits, licences, or insurance their venue or activity requires. Whoison provides the booking and payment technology only and is not a party to, and does not supervise, the session or event itself.
7. Our role and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whoison is not liable for the conduct of organisers or other players, or for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance at or participation in a session or event. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
8. Booking access
Whoison does not require you to create an account or password. You manage your booking through a private link sent to your email. Keep this link to yourself — anyone with the link can view or cancel that booking.
9. Your personal data
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. Our Cookie Notice explains our use of cookies.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
